Establishment: JAMS SWEATERS (PVT.) LTD commenced its operations in the year 1994 under the registration JkL-2001. As a private limited company, it has established itself as a prominent player in the sweater manufacturing and export industry.

Nature of Business: JAMS SWEATERS is a leading manufacturer and exporter of knitted sweaters, offering a diverse product range that includes pullovers, cardigans, skirts, vests, and more. The company specializes in various knitting patterns such as jersey, rib, cables, diamonds, pointelle, zigzag, reverse, and others.

Yarn and Sourcing: The company works with a wide range of yarn types, including acrylic, acrylic-nylon, cotton, cotton-nylon, wool, tape yarn, viscose, lurex, angora, mohair (TAMU), smiling, cotton-like, chenille, or any mixed and fancy yarn. Yarns are sourced from Bangladesh, India, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia.

Production Capacity: JAMS SWEATERS boasts an estimated capacity of approximately 80,000 pieces per month, with variations based on styling. The production is organized according to different gauges, with capacities for 3GG, 5GG/7GG, and 12GG.

Quality and Compliance: The company maintains a general Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) of 2.5 and ensures absolute compliance with fire protection standards set by the Fire Brigade Authority. The workforce of 400, consisting of 240 men and 160 women, operates in strict adherence to labor laws, prohibiting employment of individuals under 18 years.

Export Markets and Clients: JAMS SWEATERS has a strong presence in international markets, exporting to Europe, USA, Canada, and South America. The company serves reputable clients such as Afibel (France), Losan (Spain), Suburbia (Mexico), Schoenen Reus (Netherlands), and others, reflecting a global footprint.
